Flooring Contractors London is an independent information site run by Web Designer Limited (company 15002899). We are not a contractor and do not carry out building work. We are not a trade association or an approval scheme.
Personal data we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, postcode, the type of work, any message you add and your consent choice.
- Technical data: IP address and browser details processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
Please do not send special category data, such as health information, through our forms.
How your information is used
We process enquiry details so that we can respond and, if an independent tradesperson may be able to help, pass on just enough for them to get in touch about the job. We are not a contractor and do not carry out the work. UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (pre-contract steps you ask for) and Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interests in dealing with enquiries and running the business) are our lawful bases. We never sell personal data or use it to market to you.
Who we share it with
Form messages reach us through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which acts as our processor and may handle data outside the UK, in which case we rely on the safeguards required by UK law. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes technical data for delivery and security. Independent tradespeople receive details only as explained above, and we disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
Keeping your data
Enquiries are deleted no later than 2 years after we last heard from you, unless a legal obligation means we must hold them for longer.
Rights you have
- See a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected or deleted.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Take it with you (portability).
Ask using the contact routes above and you will get a response within one month.
How to complain
Tell us about any concern and we will try to resolve it. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any time via its website.
Changes to this policy
Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
Cloudflare Web Analytics: a privacy-oriented, cookieless beacon injected by Cloudflare on pages served through their network. It does not use advertising cookies. See Cloudflare Web Analytics. No PECR consent banner is required for this beacon alone.
If you request an introduction and tick the consent box, we may share the details in your enquiry with up to 3 independent businesses that match your area and request, so they can contact you. Each recipient becomes a separate controller of those details. Lawful basis: your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent by contacting us; that stops further sharing but cannot undo sharing that has already happened. We will not share your details for introductions without that consent.
